Owned by Kenny and Sherry Locklear, we are a Christian Education Center that began operation in 2009. We are located in southern Franklin County, Virginia, at the site of McNeil Mill, a grist mill that began operating before the Revolutionary War. The old mill also supplied the moonshiners of Franklin County with ground corn until its close in 1985.

We have a small farm on Big Chestnut Creek. The mill's dam and penstock create a beautiful waterfall and swimming hole, as well as a nice picnic area. Our farm includes miniature horses, llamas, babydoll sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, peacocks and occasionally ducks. We offer six different programs, as well as camping and picnicking.

We are dedicated to teaching children a Biblical view of our world. Sherry is a 1979 graduate of Virginia Tech, with a degree in Family and Child Development. She has been a homeschooling mom for 17 years, and has also worked with Henry County Public Schools for over 7 years. She has worked with children in church for over 33 years and has been a Children's Leader for Bible Study Fellowship in Roanoke. She is also a former educator for the Virginia Museum of Natural History in Martinsville.

We are breeders of registered Old English Babydoll sheep, a rare, ancient breed that is small, gentle, and naturally polled.

We are also breeders of registered Nigerian Dwarf goats.
